PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Be sure not to miss the heart of the Prague Quadrennial, the traditional International Competitive Exhibition, over 10,000 m2 of exposition space presenting the most exciting aspects of performance from over 60 countries and regions. See the Intersection Boxes, a curated project unique to PQ 2011, materialized by an all-day, ongoing outdoor performing exhibition in the very centre of Prague in which 30 acclaimed artists from across the globe are participating.

Gain a deeper comprehension of contemporary art by exploring crucial disciplines within projects focusing on Architecture, Extreme Costume, Light and Sound. Assist to Talks with artists.

Follow the program and see site-specific spectacles and outdoor performances within the Intersection project or made by students within the Scenofest project. Benefit from the richness of Prague’s artistic life thanks to PQ+, an accompanying program.

In addition to the permanent exhibits that you can see from June 16-26, 2011, the Prague Quadrennial offers a rich program of talks, discussions, outdoor performances, and site-specific spectacles, etc. See the preliminary program here. The complete program will be available on the website in April 2011.

Visitors with children can benefit from PQ for Children, an accompanying program created for children between the ages of 6 and 15, who can take part in an adventurous journey all around the exhibitions in the Veletrzni Palace.
